What is the Wonderschlautt Festival?
A bikecentric retrofuture cycle gathering designed to share the joy of Prescott area trails with friends and locals during one of the best riding seasons of the year. The concept is to remind everyone of the original joy of mountain biking… which was getting out and exploring, seeing where all the singletrack options might lead, conquering climbs and obstacles along the way.
Wonderschlautt is less about having the latest most technically advanced bike and gear, but more about being in the moment. Noticing the wildlife, clouds and sunsets, feeling the tires scrub for traction in the corners and smiling with the joy of it all.
Riding in Prescott Arizona
Prescott is all about variety. Ranging from the fully groomed jumps and berms of Bean peaks to the “old school” backcountry singletrack that follows forgotten mine roads and creek beds. Adding to this the creative and unique technical trail options carved through the Granite Dells. From the epic 60 mile plus Prescott Circle trail to the whimsical and flowy trails wandering through Spence Basin… there is something for every rider and skill level.
The Wonderschlautt Festival will give riders a taste of the variety that Prescott has to offer and share how unique and well connected the local trail system truly is.
